Brad Johnson joined the Tower last year and he has appeared in Farragut North and Cooking With Elvis. Following a 12 month part-time acting course at City Lit, Brad was in SEDOS's Americana, also at the Bridewell. Prior to that he performed in two KDC shows : The Player Played and Keeping In Touch With Temptation.
 
This is Stella Henney's first production with the Tower Theatre. She has acted throughout her life from playing Dandy Dan in Bugsy Malone at school to her most recent role in the Christmas Panto in Chiswick as Cruella de Ville. Her other credits include Madame Ranyevskia in The Cherry Orchard, Jane in Mammals, Maria and Feste in two separate productions of Twelfth Night, Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Millie Crocker-Harris in The Browning Version, Fairy Godmother in Christmas Panto, Madrid, Mrs Sedley/Miss Pinkerton/Pauline in Vanity Fair, various singing roles in the musicals of Cole Porter and Radio Days. Stella also sings in an all-girl jazz/funk band.
Annette Ross, orignally from the North East of England, worked with Trenza Theatre Company in Santiago, Chile directed by Pancho Gonzalez before training at E15 Acting School and Mountview Conservatoire in London. Since then her professional roles in theatre have included Constance Chatterley in Lady Chatterley's Lover, Titania/Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Charlotte Corday in Marat/Sade and Candy Star in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in addition to roles in new writing such as Fucking Charlie and The Lock In. She also toured internationally with the Classic Greek Theatre Company, Thiasos in productions of The Bacchae and Hippolytos. This is Annette's first production with the Tower Theatre, returning to acting after a few years away. At the end of June she will be playing Venus in a production of the opera Dido and Aeneas at the Steiner Theatre in London.
 
Deborah Ley makes a return to the Tower stage after a 20 year absence while raising her family. She first appeared on the stage with ENTENS, in productions of The Dresser, Pack of Lies, Gaslight and Habeus Corpus. Deborah joined the Tower in 1991 and enjoyed performing in both plays and musicals, particularly Underneath the Arches.
Annemarie Fearnley is no stranger to band break-ups and reunions, having been a member of two of the Tower's home-grown bands, Simply Vocal and The Checkmates. Roles at the Tower have included Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera, Irina in Three Sisters, Eugenie in Vincent in Brixton, Susan in Company, Dick in Dick Whittington, Witch in Macbeth, Anne Vaux in 5/11, Dorothy in A Farewell to the Theatre, ensemble in David Copperfield and Nicholas Nickleby, violinist in Lark Rise and a singer in Telstar. She has also performed with All Star Productions in Assassins at Theatro Technis and with Completely Productions in Company (playing Susan, again!) at The Bull.
 
Angharad Ormond has been with the Tower Theatre Company for 18 months and was seen on stage last year as Laura in The Priory, Nell in Little Nell and Daphne in Sailor Beware. She trained at Drama Studio London and other roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera. Angharad's directing credits include The Trial and Blue Remembered Hills. She is currently assistant director for the Tower's June production of Hindle Wakes. Outside the theatre, Angharad is training as a Clinical Psychologist.
The Return of the Marionettes is the first production for Fiorella Osborne with the Tower Theatre. She has loved performing since a very young age and has been in a number of productions including the title role in Annie and Meat in We Will Rock You. She has also done some TV work for the BBC including Eastenders, Holby City and Sadie J.
 
The Return of the Marionettes will be Olivia Barton-Fisher's third production with the Tower Theatre. Her previous roles with the company include Molly in Farragut North and Jane in Little Nell. Growing up, she was a member of the young Australian Broadway chorus for many years and completed a year long acting course at the Victorian College of the Arts. She was also a member of the Husk Theatre where she performed in pantomimes and played the role of Abigail in The Crucible for the Melbourne Fringe Theatre. Other credits include Laura in The Priory.
This is Jessica O'Toole's first production with the Tower Theatre. Having trained in Staging Shakespeare MA at Exeter University she has performed in a variety of Shakespeare roles, namely, Jacques and Hymen in As You Like It at the Globe Theatre, Miranda in The Tempest and Perdita in The Winter's Tale in musical versions at the Northcott Theatre. Other credits include Constance, Eleanor of Aquitaine and Henry V in a host of indoor and outdoor venues. More modern shows include work with PlayOn Theatre, Co-Lab Theatre, EuTco and co-written devised pieces with Theatre with Teeth. She returns to perform in Cornwall having last performed in St. Ives September Festival with Withpen Theatre and stage managed at the Minack Theatre. Enjoying a variety of both on and off stage roles, she has programmed shows at the Courtyard Theatre and directed at Arcola Theatre. Currently film producing/directing, she's also starring in Chickenshed Theatre's The Mariner's Rest.
 
Haidee Elise has been a member of the Tower Theatre Company since 2000. Being a lover of costume dramas her Tower credits include Mabel in An Ideal Husband, Margery Pinchwife in The Country Wife, Ariel in The Tempest, Ophelia in Hamlet and Tourvel in Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Her most recent appearance was as Regan in King Lear last year
This is Jonathan Wober's fourteenth Tower production since joining in 2009, when he appeared in The Archbishop's Ceiling and Dangerous Corner. He has toured with the Tower to Paris as Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream and to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall as various Dickensian characters in David Copperfield. Other productions have included The Odd Couple, Jump to Cow Heaven, Tartuffe and The Kitchen Sink. Most recently, he appeared as Harley Granville Barker in Farewell to the Theatre.
 
Having just moved to London Lizzie Mittler was absolutely delighted to land a role in the The Return Of The Marionettes. She has always had a huge passion for the theatre and have been lucky enough to have toured with a little theatre company nationwide playing a wide range of roles from Lady Macbeth in Macbeth to Sheila in An Inspector Calls. The Tower Theatre Company has given her not only the wonderful chance to perform at the Bridewell and work with some fantastic people, but also given her new friends in a new chapter of her life in London.
Michael Bettell joined the Tower Theatre 5 years ago and has been invoved in nearly 100 Tower productions. Previous credits include : as an actor - Ralph in Frozen, Frank Spraight in Farewell to the Theatre, The Man/Peter/The Doctor in The Pride, Marmion/Son/Technician in Comic Potential and The Reverend Crisparkle in The Mystery of Edwin Drood!; as a Set Designer - Accolade, Othello, Someone Who'll Watch over Me, King Lear, Travesties, Major Barbara, The Kitchen Sink, After the Dance, Coyote on a Fence, Two, Dancing at Lughnasa, Dying for it, The Doctor's Dilemma, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Loot, Calendar Girls, David Copperfield, The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, Darker Shores and Terrorism; as an Assistant Director - Damages, and as a Director - Farragut North and Dumb Show.
 
This is James McKendrick's fourth Tower production; he played Mr. Waterton in Mother's Day, the tragic postman Yegor in Dying For It and Professor Leopold Nettles in Largo Desolato. Other acting credits include Dinner (Mike), Glengarry Glen Ross (Shelley Levene), Separate Tables (John Malcolm), The Real Inspector Hound (Birdboot), Antigone (Creon) and 45 Minutes To Go (Jerry), for which he received best actor award at the Waltham Forest Festival. He has directed Jim Cartwright's Road, Two and Bed, the latter receiving best play and best director awards at the 2013 Waltham Forest Festival. He has also performed at the Edinburgh, Brighton and Prague Fringe Festivals and in productions that transferred to the Orange Tree Theatre and Riverside Studios.

This is Martin Shaw's seventh show with the Tower Theatre. He studied Drama in Liverpool and since joining the company in 2011 he has played Barkis in the 2012 production of David Copperfield in London and at the Minack Theatre, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew and Touchstone in As You Like It - both of which toured to Paris. Last year he appeared as Michael in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me and most recently as the father in Mother's Day.
 
Michael Allaway's theatrical debut was in his twenties, as the front end of a pantomime horse, earning him the sobriquet of Dobbin for some time after. Fortunately he wasn't type cast for long. He joined the Tower Theatre in 1999, his first role being Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard. His most recent role, prior to The Return of the Marionettes, was in 2012 as Aide Williams in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Other Tower Theatre performances include A Letter of Resignation, The Steward of Christendom, Outside Edge, The Wind in the Willows, The Weir and a Scottish play. His musical Tower Theatre performances include Something's Afoot and The Melody Lingers On.
This is Julian Farrance's sixth production for the Tower Theatre, having previously appeared in 5/11, Damages, Loot, The Doctor's Dilemma and One Man, Two Guvnors amongst numerous other productions as actor and director for other companies. Last year his play Shoot the Bugger was Runner Up in the Tower's First World War writing competition.
 
A retired teacher, grandmother, allotment site-secretary, choral singer and professional old lady, Alison Liney has been involved in Minack shows since her first visit with the Mountview Theatre in 1974. Roles on the Minack stage include Mary Stuart, Titania, Miss Blumenblatt (On the Razzle), Hold Me, Touch Me (The Producers) and a myriad of smaller roles involving a lot of running about.
Phillip Ley's first appeared on the Tower stage as a dead body in a sack over half a century ago and in one way or another he has been associated with the company ever since. He gravitated towards the technical side starting with Sound Design and Stage Management and more recently Set Design most notably, Blood Wedding, The Slab Boys, The Voysey Inheritance, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Telstar, The Producers, Sailor Beware!, Eigengrau, Chancers and The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband. His directing credits for the Tower include Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde, Sex, Drugs Rock'n'Roll, Telstar and Sailor Beware! He has also devised The Tower Theatre Blues Brothers show and The Fabulous Eddie and Otis Soul Revue. His previous musical Paradise (a Rock'n'Roll Fable) played in London and also toured to the Minack Theatre, Cornwall. He has performed as bassist in many of the recent Tower musical forays including Little Shop of Horrors, Paradise (a Rock'n'Roll Fable), Smokey Joe's Café, Lark Rise, The Boyfriend and The Producers.
Colin Guthrie has acted, directed and musical directed for many Tower shows since joining in 1985 and he musical directed the previous show from the same production team, Paradise (a rock 'n' roll fable) in 2006. Recent musical directing credits include Telstar and The Producers, which also toured to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, where it won the coveted Minack Theatre Trophy in the summer of 2014. Colin has also composed music for many Tower shows, including David Copperfield and Lark Rise. Acting credits include William Cain in Her Naked Skin and Ian in Shining City and directing credits include The Voysey Inheritance, as well as the last play produced at the Tower's old home, Strangers on a Train.
 
Ruth Sullivan's work with the Tower includes : as an actor - Seasons Greetings, Speaking in Tongues, Brighton Beach Scumbags, The Real Thing, David Copperfield and Frozen; as a director - Macbeth, The Maids, The Mystery of Edwin Drood!, The Last Five Years and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead; and as a choreographer - Putting It Together and The Fabulous Eddie and Otis Soul Revue. She also choreographed Hair and Assassins for SEDOS and Jesus Christ Superstar for Centre Stage. As a Foley Artist, film & TV work includes Eyes Wide Shut, Troy, Le Weekend, Mamma Mia!, Downton Abbey and Dickensian. She also performs live theatre Foley, seen most recently in The Magic Flute at the ENO and the Royal Danish Theatre's Cabaret as well as several projects for Katie Mitchell.
Arthur Garrison recently retired from a career as an aerospace engineer. Born in New York, he spent his formative years in Madrid and London where at an early age he discovered his instinct for rhythms when he began tapping pencils on pots in time to Downtown. A drum kit was reluctantly purchased for him, drum by drum and cymbal by cymbal over a period of two years. His interest in musical theatre began when he played for a school production of The Who's rock opera, Tommy. Since then he has played for probably over one hundred musicals including numerous Tower Theatre productions such as The Blues Brothers, Paradise (a rock'n'roll fable), Company, The Fantasticks and Return to the Forbidden Planet. He has played all musical styles from rock to brass band, but his favorite is musical theatre because ... well, it's because the styles, textures, dynamics and interpretation are just more interesting. Arthur currently resides in Los Angeles, California and has flown in expressly to play with his old friends for The Return of The Marionettes.
 
Joey Bradick is a 21 year-old musician from Enfield, currently finishing up his degree in Music at the University of Sussex. Joey has played Guitar in countless shows over the last 6 years including Lark Rise, David Copperfield and Telstar, and is excited to be working on his seventh Tower production. A guitarist influenced predominantly by rock and blues music, Joey hopes to channel his influence and skill into The Return Of The Marionettes!
Peta Barker was born in St. Vincent, West Indies. His acting credits include : Ariel & Caliban (The Tempest), Macduff (Macbeth), Iago (Othello), Mrs Yajnavalkya (Valmouth), The Voice of Audrey II - the Plant (Little Shop of Horrors), Mbongeni (Woza Albert! ), Scullery (Road), Ash (Dealer's Choice), Jack Mullen (The Weir), John (Shining City), Samuel Byck (Assassins), Derek (Brighton Beach Scumbags) and Hoke (Driving Miss Daisy). Directing credits include Blue Remembered Hills, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Burn This, Lysistrata, The Blue Room, Brimstone and Treacle and The Lieutenant of Inishmore. He has adapted Russell Hoban's novel Kleinzeit for the stage. Peta plays drums and percussion, guitar and bass guitar, and has played in musicals including The Wizard of Oz, Chicago, Mr Cinders, The Producers, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Annie and Paradise (a rock'n'roll fable). Peta is currently appearing as Snug the Joiner in the RSC's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
 
Paul Sanders has been involved with Tower Theatre since 2006, playing Saxophone and Trumpet. This is Paul's 9th Tower Production, the first being Paradise (a rock'n'roll fable) then others such as Sondheim's Putting it Together, The Boy Friend, The Fabulous Eddie and Otis Soul revue, Lark Rise, David Copperfield and The Producers. Before the Tower, Paul was playing in Musicals at The Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford, including Little Shop of Horrors, 70s show Disco Inferno and the Buddy Holly show Heaven Can Wait. When not doing musical theatre, Paul is found playing Sax in the successful Essex based Ska band Sax on Fire, covering Ska anthems from Madness, Bad Manners and The Specials, keeping him very busy with gigs and festivals throughout the year.
